Calm and nature
Both of us from Vendée, we met in a family home when we were 20 and 20 years ago now.
2 nice children later and at the dawn of our 40th birthday, the choice of a professional turning point has arisen. Passionate about sport but above all about life, it came to us, as an evidence, to open a holiday residence in our image, bringing together our own expectations in the same place. An opportunity for us to create a family project with the opportunity to discover all the riches of our department.
Vendée Bulle d’Air is a place between sea and nature, between calm and tourist effervescence. A place for privileged moments to consume without moderation, summer and winter, whether the sun is there or not.
It is all this that triggered our crush on this property. With us, there is something for everyone because each person is different but deserves the same attention.
The idea for our project came from our own personal experience. That is to say “real” “tailor-made” holidays (example: full fridge option on arrival, mapped out bike rides, reservations for various fun, sporting or fun activities nearby, advice and recommendations on different places , types of restaurants, bars or beaches, etc.). All this with the aim of optimizing every moment of your stay.
Hence the name “Vendée Bulle d’Air”, which will allow you, we hope, to recharge your batteries during your time.
Geographical location of our gite in Vendée
The city of Avrillé, inhabited by 1,442 Avrillais, is located in the west of France in Vendée, in the Pays de la Loire. This town is not far from the Vendée coast, also called: Côte de Lumière. Avrillé has a rich historical past, especially from the Neolithic period. Indeed, we can still admire the remains of the megaliths. Moreover, one of the menhirs is on the former camp of César accessible to the public and located in the park of the town hall of Avrillé (85). In addition, many other places are to be discovered in the town of Avrillé, such as the house of Georges Clemenceau, the Guignardière castle, etc.
The domain
With an area extending over 11,000m² with a 4000m² tree-lined pond full of fish, a change of scenery is guaranteed. In addition, the cottage has a swimming pool covered by a dome to enjoy throughout the year.
The estate is located 500m from the village and close to all amenities (bank, pharmacy, bakery, hairdresser, doctor, grocery store, bar, restaurant).
Market in the town of Avrillé every Thursday and all year round.
A petanque court, a badminton net, fishing equipment are at your disposal.
Ideally located 7 km from the beaches of and the port of Jard sur Mer.
Our holiday cottages
Whether you are alone, as a couple, with family or friends, we welcome you by the night (minimum two nights) or by the week in one of our holiday homes. From 2 to 12 people, we offer 3 vacation rentals for your next stay.
